    Shipping times vary by country and depend on carriers and customs but are roughly 3 - 5 days within the EU and 12 -30 days for worldwide orders.

Whats different between HLC & Merch pre-orders?

"Handmade Latex Craft" pre-orders are handled differently than "AKIKO Merch" pre-orders. HLC are produced by us directly, Merch & Care Items are not.

But we make sure our suppliers offer at least a good product to get our collab and partner artists a quality canvas while fans get to wear & buy premium merch.

HLC & Care Solution pre-orders:
Paid upfront in full and start production after purchase. Will be made-per-order.

AKIKO Merch pre-orders:
Paid upfront in full and use a lock-in system: That means merch starts production after 10 pieces are sold.
We will notify you via mail as soon as the production starts and update our socials.
But Merch traditionally arrives earlier than HLC and combined pre-orders.

Can I return or refund Latex orders?

Each piece is individually handmade and specified in details per customer. Because of that and due to hygiene, all sales are final and any made-to-order item/s can't be returned or refunded.

We take great care in our art & craft to satisfy you to the best of our abilities but: Please be aware about this policy when ordering any of our products and do not buy a piece that wouldn't fit your size, since we wouldn't be able to guarantee you a good fit. In that case we advise you to wait until we extend our offer range that has your sizing. Read our Refund Policy for more info.

How about returning official merch?

In that case, Yes! You can! As long as:

- You live inside of the EU.
- Your merch remains clean.
- Your apparel has not been worn.
- Has all original tags still attached.
- The item remains fully undamaged.
- And has not suffered any quality loss.
- No chemicals have touched the merch.

If all of these apply & hold true you can return your merch item. A short, one-time try-on is not considered worn as long as your item is kept in pristine condition & the listed points still apply. More info is found in our refund policy.

My Latex doesn't shine? Help!

Don't worry, that is completely normal! Natural Latex rubber will not shine on its own and has to be washed + shined up to do so. It's easy and we explain how you do it properly right here.

To avoid your new treasure drying up during shipment it will arrive sealed and dusted with a protective coat of talcum powder which doubles as an easy way for you to try it on. To shine it up: Always make sure to wash off the powder or you'll make a mess.

Will you offer custom cosplay?

No, but we will offer special collaboration pieces in tandem with artists, licensors & other businesses in the future and fill up our store over time, with all the good luxury weeb stuff your heart can wish for. Feel free to recommend us to your favorite creator or if you are one yourself read our collab info and reach out.

Is Latex machine washable?

Despite all the false information surrounding this material here are the definitive reasons why it is the worst idea for any quality fashion Latex apparel to be washed in a machine:

1. Leaving Latex damp over some time will deteriorate it.

2. It can lead to ugly surfaces scratches on your favorite piece.

3. Washing machines are generally not built for Latex clothing.

4. The metal drums can stain your latex after prolonged contact.

5. Your piece can get stuck then rip apart or break your machine.

So please for the love of the hard work that went into producing your wonderful piece of art, make sure to show it some love and wash it by hand only. It will reward you with an amazing shine.

Terms & Conditions for Pre-Order Purchases

What are Pre-orders?
Pre-orders are advance purchases made on items that ship at a future date. This guarantees that your order will not be sold out until being discontinued and is crafted or reserved individually for you.

Each item available for pre-order will have its own ship-out time. These dates are not guaranteed and depend on the volume of sales since made-to-order items are hand-crafted pieces that take time & effort for a luxurious result.

That means pre-order items are not readily available and therefore you will have to wait around 7 - 11 weeks to receive your products.

BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE READ THE RULES & REGULATIONS BELOW:

1. Pre-orders require a payment to be made at checkout. (Immediate charge)

2. Due to the nature of our handmade Latex items, cancellation of their pre-orders is impossible once your order has been submitted and paid nor could it be exchanged for other items. All such pre-orders made are considered as sold. Official merch pre-orders can only be canceled before their lock date.

3. We will ship orders the moment they are available (after their final quality check). And therefore can't guarantee a specific shipping date or time frame.

4. Due to factors outside of our control (eg: customs etc.) the shipment of your order can be delayed beyond estimates.

5. Please refrain from ordering if you are unable to wait.

6. If you combine pre-order items, ALL items will be shipped at once, as soon as all pre-ordered items are available.

7. Once you place an order with us, it means that you are willing to accept these terms & conditions.

8. Pre-orders are non-transferable. All orders made shall ship directly to the person and address specified at check-out. We will not entertain such requests to protect the privacy of our customers.

9. Once your order is available, you will be informed via email and immediately have all your items packed & scheduled for shipment. In the case of lost items during shipment only, we shall refund in full the amount that you have paid. This does no longer apply if either:

  1. The carrier labels the parcel as delivered.
  2. You were not at home but the carrier tried to deliver your parcel.

10. In case of severe shipping delays we shall refund you the full amount that you have paid, in case you opt to cancel your pre-order because of it. We will inform you of such events via mail.

11. You carry the shipping costs when sending back your AKIKO merch item. An eventual cleaning fee of 15 EUR per item is due if they are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you.

12. Merch Items bought through our partners websites are handled by them.
We do not take any responsibility or make guarantees if any issues arise on their end and won't be able to help when it comes to shipping questions as we have no insight into their logistics.

How long will it take to ship out my pre-order?

Once the item has been produced, your order will be dispatched within two working days.
